Open-Door Pre-Purchase Exams

At Buckeye Acre Farm, honesty and transparency are at the heart of everything we do. From our Buckeye Training Program to our Full Disclosure Videos, our goal is to give every buyer the information and confidence they need to make the right decision.
That same philosophy continues with our Open Door Pre-Purchase Exam policy.
If you’re interested in one of our horses, you’re always welcome to have your own veterinarian perform a pre-purchase examination (PPE). A PPE is available at the buyer’s expense, and we are happy to work with you and your veterinarian if you decide one is right for you. We have nothing to hide and want every buyer to feel comfortable and confident in their decision.
A pre-purchase exam isn’t something we require or discourage—it’s simply an option that’s always available because we believe confidence comes from complete transparency. You’re welcome to use any licensed veterinarian of your choice, and we’ll gladly coordinate with them throughout the process.
For your convenience, here are a few veterinary practices located within approximately one hour of Buckeye Acre Farm:
- Mairs Veterinary Hospital (330) 464-6132
- Valley View Animal Hospital (330) 364-2552
- Orrville Veterinary Clinic (330) 682-2971
- East Holmes Veterinary Clinic (330) 893-2057
Whether you decide to have a PPE performed or not, we invite you to spend time with the horse, learn about our Buckeye Training Program, watch our Full Disclosure Videos, and ask as many questions as you’d like. We want you to have all the information you need to make the decision that’s right for you.
Our goal isn’t Just to sell you a horse; it’s to help match you with the right equine partner for years of enjoyment.
Because at Buckeye Acre Farm, what matters to you truly matters to us.
