With his beautiful red roan color, three white socks, a white blaze, and a nice flowing mane and tail, Bourbon has the kind of eye appeal that will get him noticed, whether you are heading down the trail or stepping into the show pen. But Bourbon is more than just a pretty face! He has the riding experience and willing attitude to go right along with his good looks. Whether you are looking for a horse to enjoy in the arena or one to take down the trail, Bourbon is ready to be your partner. Bourbon has been on miles of trails, traveling through the woods, across open fields, up and down hills, through creeks and water, and over logs, taking it all in stride. He has also been ridden on state roads with traffic, giving him a variety of riding experiences. Whether you want to head out for a peaceful ride alone or enjoy the trails with a group of friends, Bourbon does not mind either way. Put him in the front, middle, or back of the group, and he will do just fine, happy to go wherever you ask him. Whether you are heading out for a relaxing afternoon trail ride or looking for a horse with the potential to excel in ranch riding and ranch show competitions, we think Bourbon has a lot to offer. With his eye-catching looks, nice conformation, and versatility, he could make a fantastic addition to someone’s family or show barn. He absolutely loves attention, especially those extra scratches, and is always happy to have someone stop by and spend a little time with him. Turn him out in the pasture by himself or with a group of horses, and he does well either way. He is easy to catch and will meet you at the gate, ready for whatever the day has in store.
