Looking for a good-boned, dirty buckskin gelding with the looks, size, and mindset to match? One that has that been-there, done-that attitude, a puppy-dog personality, and does not need to stay in a steady riding program to remain the same horse? Meet Cadillac. Cadillac is the kind you can saddle up, load in the trailer, and head out for the day. Ride him alone or in a group, put him in the front, middle, or back, and he is happy as long as he is with you. Add in his striking dirty buckskin color, strong build, and soft, kind eye, and Cadillac is the kind that is hard to walk past without taking a second look. Cadillac is a 2020 model standing a strong 15.3 hands and is an AQHA registered Buckskin Gelding. From his deep dirty buckskin color, black mane and tail, black socks, and handsome head with a soft, kind eye, Cadillac has the kind of presence that gets noticed wherever he goes. But as impressive as he is to look at, it is his mindset and personality that really make him stand out. Whether you are looking for a dependable trail partner, an all-around family horse, or simply a good friend to enjoy, Cadillac wants to be there for you. He has that been-there, done-that attitude that makes riding enjoyable. Saddle him up, load him in the trailer, and head out for the day—Cadillac takes new places and different surroundings in stride. He has been ridden on state roads with traffic as well as small country roads and does not miss a beat. He has been ridden in both the indoor and outdoor arenas and is comfortable wherever you choose to ride him. Take him out alone or ride him in a group; put him in the front, middle, or back, and Cadillac is content. Where he is in the group does not matter nearly as much to him as being with his rider. Cadillac has been on miles of trails through open fields and woods, up and down hills, over logs, and through creeks and water. He has also been used around the farm to check cattle and fence lines. He is good with jugs, tarps, and whips and takes the different things you may encounter along the way in stride. One of the things we appreciate most about Cadillac is that he does not need to stay in a steady riding program to remain the same horse. Give him some time off, saddle him back up, and he is the same dependable Cadillac you remember. That kind of consistency is hard to put a price on when you are looking for a horse to simply saddle up and enjoy. Around the barn, Cadillac is a gentleman. He is good for grooming, tacking, and the wash bay, and he absolutely loves attention and all the scratches you are willing to give him. His puppy-dog personality carries over into the pasture as well. He does well turned out by himself or with other horses and is often one of the first to meet you at the gate. Cadillac is the kind of gelding that combines size, bone, color, personality, and real-world experience into one impressive package. With his striking dirty buckskin color and strong build, he certainly will not go unnoticed whether you are riding down the trail, around the farm, or simply watching him out in the field. Cadillac is up to date on his vaccinations, deworming, and dental care. If Cadillac sounds like the kind of partner you have been searching for, we would love the opportunity to introduce you to him.
