Wow, wow—where do we even start with Maserati? If you are looking for that once-in-a-lifetime, flashy gelding with the versatility to go from reining and ranch shows to trail riding and being a babysitter for the family, Maserati is the kind that deserves your attention. One of the things that makes Maserati so special is his ability to adjust to his rider. He is safe and enjoyable for a wide range of riders, from beginners and seniors to experienced riders who want to take advantage of his training. Show him in the morning, ride him in the afternoon, and let the grandkids enjoy him that evening. He also does not have to stay in a steady riding program to remain the same dependable horse. Whether you ride him once a week or once a month, you can saddle him back up and expect the same Maserati you rode the last time. That kind of mind, ability, and versatility is hard to find all wrapped up in one horse. Maserati is a 2020 model, 14.3 hand, AQHA and APHA registered sorrel gelding. With four white socks, a beautiful blaze, kind eyes, and eye-catching conformation, he has the looks and presence that are sure to get him noticed wherever he goes. Add in his personality, training, and pedigree, and he truly is the complete package. His pedigree speaks for itself. Maserati is an own son of Gunners Tinseltown, an earner of over $300,000 and a son of the legendary Hall of Fame stallion Colonels Smoking Gun (Gunner). On the bottom side, his pedigree goes back to Jacs Electric Spark, whose offspring have earned more than $4 million, along with the great Hall of Fame stallion Shining Spark. He has the breeding to back up his looks and ability. What we really love about Maserati is his versatility and his true want-to-please, be-there-for-you personality. We believe he could go in multiple directions. Take him to the reining pen, show him in ranch classes, spend the day trail riding, or saddle him up for the kids or grandkids. He is the kind you can enjoy in more ways than one without needing a different horse for every job. Maserati has been ridden in both the indoor and outdoor arenas and is comfortable Western, English, bareback, and even bridle less. He has smooth, comfortable gaits from the walk and trot to the extended trot and lope. He knows his leads, has smooth transitions, a nice turnaround, and a smooth sliding stop. He also lays down, sits up, and will stand on the pedestal. Whether you want to enjoy his training or simply cruise around the farm, he is willing and wants to take care of his rider. Outside of the arena, Maserati has been on miles of trails through the woods and open fields, over logs, through creeks and water, and up and down the trail, taking it all in stride. Ride him out alone or with a group. Put him in the front, middle, or back, and he is happy to go wherever you ask. He is also good with jugs, tarps, whips, and the different sights and sounds we expose our horses to. Maserati is a true gentleman around the farm as well. He is good in the pasture by himself or with other horses and is easy to have around in the barn. He stands well to tack, groom, and wash and enjoys the attention that comes along with being part of the family. He is up to date on vaccinations, deworming, and dental care. If you have been waiting for that flashy, well-bred, versatile gelding that can step up when you ask and settle right back down when it is time to take care of the family, Maserati may just be the one you have been searching for.
