Sunny Joe is a 6-year-old, 15.1-hand registered AQHA buckskin gelding with a stunning coat, correct conformation, and a kind, willing attitude. He is the kind of horse that checks all the boxes—beginner-safe, kid-safe, versatile, and dependable. Over the past year in our program, Sunny Joe has proven himself to be the ultimate “been there, done that” partner, ready for any task you throw his way. Whether it is a casual trail ride, or a day spent checking cattle, Sunny Joe handles it all with ease. He has been on countless trail rides, confidently crossing creeks and tackling various terrains. On the ranch, he is equally dependable, having been used to check the cows and navigating everyday obstacles. He is desensitized to tarps, jugs, and even gunfire. Sunny Joe’s versatility shines through—one day, you can enjoy a relaxing trail ride, and the next, you can take him to a ranch show. His smooth gaits and excellent training make him suitable for both recreational and competitive settings. Sunny Joe wears shoes on all four feet due to the terrain where we ride, but he has strong, healthy hooves and could easily go barefoot if desired.
