Buckeyes Apollo
Apollo is a one-of-a-kind 2020 model Appaloosa-Quarter Horse cross gelding standing a solid and handy 14.2 hands tall. He is a real eye-catcher with his striking palomino coat, Appaloosa spots across his back, a bright white mane and tail, and two white socks that add to his standout look. With his unique coloring, strong build, and quiet mind, Apollo is the kind of horse that turns heads wherever he goes. He has been on all kinds of trail rides—through water, across bridges, down busy state roads, and out in traffic. Nothing seems to bother him. Apollo takes every ride in stride and is as steady as they come. He has been ridden western, English, and bareback without a fuss and always shows up the same whether you ride him once a week or once a month. Apollo has three smooth gaits, knows how to side pass to the mounting block, and even has a little spin. He is a fun ride with a great handle. He also knows a couple tricks like laying down and sitting up, making him as entertaining as he is dependable. He currently wears shoes on all four feet due to the terrain he has been worked on, but he has got strong, solid hooves and could go barefoot if preferred. He is good in the barn, easy in the wash bay, and stands great for the farrier. Apollo is safe, sweet, and sure to get attention wherever you take him. Whether you are headed down the trail, into the arena, or just out for a relaxing ride, he is the kind of horse that makes every day in the saddle a good one.
