Do you love that hard-to-find Blue Roan color with the size and mind to match? Meet Blue Ice, a 2021 model 14.3 hand Blue Roan Quarter Horse/Pony Cross gelding that is sure to turn heads everywhere he goes. With his thick, bushy long tail, one white hind foot, sturdy build, and soft kind eye, he is the kind that stands out the minute he steps off the trailer. With his nice 14.3 hand size, good bone, and strong build, he offers the perfect blend of comfort, strength, and versatility for a wide variety of riders. But his color is only the beginning of what makes him special. Blue Ice has an extremely easy going, willing mindset and a calm demeanor that is second to none. He truly wants to please, enjoys attention, and loves being around people. Whether you are looking for a dependable trail partner, a family horse, or one you can simply enjoy every day, he is the same honest gelding each time you pull him out. Ride him once a week or once a month and he stays the same steady, willing horse. He has been ridden through open fields, thick woods, creeks, and over logs with confidence and ease. He has seen plenty of miles on the trails and has been on state roads and small country roads with traffic, making him very traffic safe. Blue Ice has also been used to pony horses and help start colts, and nothing seems to bother him. Jugs, tarps, whips, commotion, or new surroundings do not faze him, as he takes everything in stride without missing a beat. In the arena, Blue Ice is just as enjoyable. He has been ridden both indoors and outdoors, knows his leads, and has exceptionally smooth flowing gaits that are easy and comfortable to ride all day long. He rides western, English, and bareback with the same willing attitude every time. Whether you want to take him down the trail, enjoy him in the arena, or simply use him around the farm checking fence lines and horses, he is happy to do whatever is asked of him. One of the best things about Blue Ice is his versatility. He is suitable for any level rider, from beginners and seniors wanting a confidence builder to more advanced riders looking for a dependable all-around partner. He rides quietly alone or in a group and does not mind riding in the front, middle, or back of the pack. He is good in the pasture by himself or turned out with other horses and is always easy to be around. Blue Ice is the kind that is hard to replace — safe, dependable, eye-catching, and kindhearted all wrapped into one beautiful Blue Roan package. He is up to date on vaccinations, deworming, shoeing, and dental care and is ready to meet his next family.
