Buckeyes Dillion

The Sweetest Horse you will ever find. That is what we think of when we think of Buckeyes Dillion. He is a 2017 draft cross gelding that stands a solid 15.3 hands tall. He is by a Percheron Stallion and out of a quarter horse mare. He is as cool and as laid back as they can come. He will be that goto horse that you know you can trust to put anyone on. He has that striking buckskin color, a kind eye, and a great size to carry a lot of different riders. He not only is a wonderful riding horse, he can also pull a cart down the road for that Sunday afternoon stroll. Dillion has been a lot of fun to take through our program. He will try his best at anything that you ask him to do. He has three very easy to ride balanced gaits in and out of the arena. He can be ridden in an English or western saddle and will even go bareback without a bridle if you so choose to ride that way. He has been on numerous trail rides and does not mind to be the lead horse or fall somewhere in the middle of the pack. He will go through all types of waterways from small creeks to deep rivers. His sturdy size can handle a lot more than your typical quarter horse can. He is wearing shoes all around because of where we ride him. He has been great in or out of the barn and does not have any bad habits at all. He will stand quietly in the cross ties, or single tie as well. He gets along with other horses as he is not the herd boss. He will come right up to you in the field and will be looking for you when you call. Dillion is a horse that will fit into a lot of different programs. He is not a lazy horse at all, and can go all day if you ask him to. Just because he is laid back, does not make him a horse that is hard or boring to ride. He loves adventure and will come off the trailer easy anywhere that you haul him.
