Buckeyes Silver
Take a look at this once-in-a-lifetime horse. Buckeyes Silver is a 2015 Draft Cross gelding that stands a solid 15.1 hands tall. He is by a Halflinger stallion and out of a Percheron Mare. He is not only wonderful and easy to ride, he is also equally well trained to drive. He came into our program and out performed at each obstacle. He really has that heart of gold and wants to please in all that he does. He has three very easy to ride gaits and is a very smooth ride to top it off. He can be ridden in an English saddle or a western saddle or if you prefer he can go bareback as well. Silver has been on numerous trail rides and others have borrowed him to take on rides and overnight camp outs as well. We know that he will always take care of his rider so we pick him out when someone wants to borrow a horse for the day. He will ride out alone right off the farm. He goes through water no matter how deep or fast moving. He crosses bridges and is easy going in traffic as well. He has been kept outside and in a stall and does not have any bad habits at all. He is wearing shoes all around because of where we ride and he always is a gentleman for the farrier and vet when they come. Silver has seen a lot of different types of animals on the farm and in the woods. Nothing seems to phase him and he will trailer to any new place and come off the trailer the same each time. We know that Silver will be that awesome, fun to ride horses each time you get him out no matter how often or how little you ride him. He will fit into any program without complaints.
