Introducing Dune, a beautiful 5-year-old dun gelding who brings together beauty, strength, and versatility. Standing tall at 15.1 hands, Dune is easily recognized by his striking black dorsal stripes and solid, muscular build. As a draft cross, Dune has a calm and steady temperament, making him an ideal companion for riders of all levels. We have had the pleasure of owning Dune for the past 2 years, during which he has proven himself repeatedly. He is traffic-safe and sound, having been used in a variety of roles, from performing on a drill team to being hitched in double and participating in wagon trains. Dune is a versatile horse, equally comfortable being ridden English, Western, or bareback, and he adapts smoothly to each discipline. Dune’s experience goes beyond just different riding styles. He has been on state roads in traffic, through creeks, and around obstacles without any issues. Tarps, jugs, and even gunfire from his back do not faze him, showing his steady and reliable nature. His calm demeanor makes him an excellent choice for both beginner riders looking to build confidence and experienced riders seeking a dependable partner. To ensure he is always ready for the varied terrain he rides on, Dune wears shoes on all four feet. However, his strong and solid hooves mean he could easily go barefoot if needed. Dune is also up to date on all vaccinations and deworming, so he is in excellent health and ready for any challenge. One of the things we love most about Dune is his friendly and eager personality. He is always quick to meet you at the gate when you call, ready to join you for your next adventure.
