2016 Draft-Cross Gelding

16 hh Tobiano

Jace is as sweet and easy to love as an Oreo cookie. Once you get a taste of him, you will always be going back for more.

He was raised right here in this area and has been exposed to a lot in his life already. He really has that laid back personality that everyone is looking for in a draft cross. He has the looks and size to go with it as well. He is a horse that you would normally spend a lot of time looking for all tied up in one package.

He came to us and settled right into our program and went through it with flying colors. He is willing to try anything that we ask him to do and does so with a happy mind. He gets along with anyone and any horse as well. He is a horse that you will feel safe putting your first time rider on knowing that he will take care of them.

Jace has three, very easy to ride and sit gaits. He is not a fast horse and will give that first time rider or that timid rider the confidence to have a great time while on horseback. He can be ridden English, Western and is a lot of fun to hop on and ride around bareback as well. He has that comfortable rocking horse canter that makes you want to sit on his back all day.

He has been on miles and miles of trails, and will go through anything you ask him to. Through creeks, rivers, over bridges and is safe and quiet in traffic as well. He has been around a lot of different kinds of animals and does not get startled when he sees something new on the trail. He can lead, follow of fall somewhere in the middle on the trail as he does not mind. You can also ride him away from the group and not have an issue as well. He rides away from the farm alone with no issues and will trailer anywhere and come off the trailer and settle in right away.

He is wearing shoes all around and is great for the farrier and the vet. We have kept him in a stall and out in the field and he does not have any bad habits at all. He is a true gentleman in the cross ties and will stand perfect for you to get him ready. He does not need to be in a program to always be the same wonderful horse each and every time you get him out.
