MAKE MINE WHIZKEY is one to really keep your eye on! He is by one of the best bred Reining Stallions in the business, DUN IT FOR WHIZKEY, (who has personally achieved over $250,000 in winnings), by the $12 million NRHA all time leading sire TOPSAIL WHIZ and out of NRHA Million dollar dam and hall of famer, DUN IT FOR CHEX by HOLLYWOOD DUN IT.

Combine that pedigree with the start Whiskey has had, and we are sure you will want him on your wish list. Whiskey, although bred to show, has easily gone through our program with flying colors!!

Whiskey has seen a lot in 2021! In October he was ridden in a local drill team’s 2-day performance and took it all in with ease with over 10 horses performing in the ring together, 1000’s of people watching in the crowd and loud music and lights and never seemed to mind it all. This boy has carried the flag, had guns shot off him, been ridden on heavy traffic roads and nothing seems to bother him.

He is quite the performer and loves the attention, although he also enjoys taking a leisurely ride down the trail to see what the outside world has to offer as well. He is an easy keeper and can be stalled or kept in a pasture and does not have any bad habits at all.

Despite his age, he has the personality of a much wiser horse that makes you want to just keep on riding him. You can ride him bareback and bridleless right from the field and he does not mind a bit. He will come trotting right up to you when he sees you and let you know that he appreciates the visit.

He has all the moves and tight transitions of a reining horse as he spent time with a professional trainer and was an easy horse to bring along. He loves to learn new things and goes out of his way to please you. He has a great stop, tight quick spins, and a smooth lead change that will make you look like a pro. He is very well trained, but not a horse that needs a professional to ride for you to enjoy at home.

He has been taken on lots of trail rides and has no issues going through water, crossing bridges, and is steady on a busy road. He has been ridden by several different levels of riders and will adjust to their needs well as he is not a fussy horse.

On the ground, he is a true gentleman for you to groom, tack, and stands well for the farrier. He will walk right onto any trailer, and comes off like nothing has changed.
