Tinsel is being sold at the League of Legends Horse Sale on August 5th

Buckeye Acre Farm is very honored to be presenting a horse of this caliber to the public. Chicn Tinseltown is a 2015, 15 hand, registered AQHA, Dun gelding, that is not only bred well but his personality and heart are next to none. He is out of the 2.5 million dollar sire Hollywood Tinseltown, a 2004 palomino stallion who is sired by NRHA Five Million Dollar Sire and Hall of Famer Hollywood Dun It and out of one of the greatest NRHA show mares, Miss Tinseltown. His dam, Cornbread N Chicn, is out of the Hall of Fame stallion Smart Chic O’lena. Tinsel is one of those horses that when you get him in your barn, you are not sure you really want to let him go. He has been one of the easiest, most laid back, fun horses we have ever had. He has that – whatever you wish – attitude and he does everything you ask of him with grace and style. He never complains and goes the extra mile to put that smile on your face. Yes, he has a reining show background and could easily go right back again and do very well, but he also loves to go exploring on the trails. He will go out alone, right off the farm, and does not cause a fuss at all. We know that we can put any level rider on him and they will fall in love with his smooth walk, trot and canter. He is as easy to ride at home as he is when you take him away. He does not have any bad habits and he is a horse that you can let stand in the stall for days and get him out and he will be the same solid, happy go lucky horse that you always have had without having to work him down. He has been a lot of fun to take through our program and picked everything up with ease. He will ride English or Western and is a joy to ride bareback and bridleless. He can be kept outside or in the stall and will give you a soft little nicker when he sees you. He will give that timid rider back their confidence and help you look good riding him, even if you don’t feel like you know what you are doing. We have taken him on group trail rides and he goes through water, up steep hills, over bridges and is quiet in traffic. From tarps, flags, bullwhips, and gunshots, he has seen it all – done it all and will be a fun all around horse for anyone to take and put into their program to love.
